And the Winner is...

Every year, Tromsø International Film Festival culminates in a grand celebration of cinematic excellence, where we honor the storytellers who have moved, challenged and inspired us.

We are proud to present seven awards that recognize the very best of this year’s program:

The Aurora Prize
Awarded to the best film in our main Competition Program.

FIPRESCI
The international critics' prize, awarded by the Fédération Internationale de la Presse Cinématographique.

The Norwegian Peace Film Award
Given to a film that spotlights direct, structural, or cultural violence.

The Tromsø Palm – Shorts
Awarded to the best short film in the Films from the North program.

The Tromsø Palm – Features
Awarded to the best feature-length film in the Films from the North program.

The Faith in Film Award
Presented to a film that encourages reflection and critical thinking about religion's place in society.

The Tromsø Audience Award
The festival audience's very own prize for their favorite film.
